Hi ... I'm Shon Turfrey, Director of SMTC.

Here at SMTC we have created a go to company

were you can come to us and we can help you work through your building projects.

We are more than just a standard building company, we understand that there is a lot more involved in getting a building project underway and through to completion. Whether you have an existing house you are looking to renovate, or have land and are looking to have a set of architectural plans drawn up for a new build. We can help see your project through to completion.

From new builds to renovation works, through to landscaping. Integrating the house into the landscape, with site levelling, decking, retaining walls, all the way through to having a perfectly levelled lawn and entertaining areas. We have got you covered!

With a background in architectural design from studying in wellington, through to working in architectural studios, working on building plans. Having this background with design appreciation, helps me understand clients expectations and the importance of detail in a project.

From architecture I went on to train and become a qualified builder here in New Zealand. I have had opportunities to work on some really interesting projects here in New Zealand and Australia. From architectural residential construction, through to industrial / commercial and high rise construction. Picking up different building experiences from each project, and in turn now being able to bring this experience to our clients directly.
